But seriously, everyone does the "ring in the crease makes a heart-aww" thing so I wanted to do something different and more meaningful.

The ring is from my boyfriend, coincidentally named Edward (but I call him Alex). He tells me to be safe whenever we part ways so this whole scene means quite a bit to me.

He's never even read Twilight!

Clever. I like the fact that you resisted the urge to do the whole "ring in a crease makes a heart" cliche, while still making the concept personally applicable, and giving it a broad appeal. :+fav:
